The Babies are a fascinating New Yorker adventure, comprising the Vivian Girls frontwoman Cassie Ramone, the bassist from Woods Kevin Morby, the Bossy's drummer, Justin Sullivan and Nathanael Stark. This line-up quickly got some attention, but it was through a music inspired by the need to live hard – loving, touching, breathing and breath-taking – that the band ensured the public enthusiasm and created a huge expectation for its first LP, anticipated by this magnificent and ultra-limited Ep.

Their songs portray, in a beautiful and intense way, the experience of those who, consciously or unconsciously, are facing the contradictions of a city, wanting to live there like in a house full of friends on the beach front. If they were a drawing, they would be a tattoo illustrating a trip, which departed, then with the skin covered by the dust of a desert road, sometimes with the hair covered by the wave's foam in an endless and empty beach. These are songs about the way home you are looking for.
